CS2 need a Ultra Lowest setting mode ( potato mode )

CS2 is smooth for me but when I am dead and spectating other players, lots of time I see mild shutters or serious shutter. So I assume the player I am spectating has a old pc and he can't play smoothly and trust me in Asian/Indian servers these shuttery players like 40% of the playerbase

So I feel bad for them playing their favorite game in this condition and having a really poor time with the shuttering

Valve should add a ultra low settings mode to help these players which will get significant fps boost. The settings will remove the particles, map details etc to squeeze more FPS as possible

Valve should come up with a helping hand. There are unnecessary details in maps which can be removed in ultra low settings ( without giving gameplay advantage) and give the low end players a playable experience

"brooo" i get 70-80 fps at high on persona 5 royal whch is much more graphically demanding

At that point, just play CS Source or 1.6

Decreasing the quality of the game also wont do any significant difference. CS2 already sucks a lot of power from your computer

This has been my point for months now. I'm telling you, the majority of players complaining that CS2 is broken, buggy, has glitches, crashes, etc. are literally playing the game on a potato. The same potato that for over a decade handled CS:GO fine and they're mad that the better, newer iteration of Counter-Strike simply doesn't play right because they don't meet the minimum specs.

Upgrade your PCs people. CS2 isn't going to magically work on PCs that are 10+ years old.

People are having poor experience with 4090. 500 FPS feels like 60hz and hundreds of people are saying it. The game is poorly optimizied and has one of worst frame pacing game in FPS right now. Even gamer nexus made a video about it. He said an FPS comp with such poor level of framepacing is clearly unacceptable

Exactly, been saying that for MONTHS now. CS2 plays perfectly fine with zero issues if, you know, you have an upgraded PC that can handle next-gen video games. Otherwise, go play Terraria or something

EXACTLY, and the game still crashes often,meanwhile NONE of the other games I play - be it multiplayer or singleplayer - do. Something is wrong with this game..


However I think one of my ram sticks are failing so it might be that. I'll get it replaced and see if it still persists.
