Bring back Controller + Gyro Support for CS2
I've been playing controller for 3 years with gyro and flick stick in games like Minecraft, COD and R6 Siege. When I found out CS:GO had official gyro and flick stick support built into the game, I decided to get back into it, and I LOVED it.

Now that CS:2 is out, the game still having console commands related to controller, no longer has controller/steam input support. VALVE HELLO? After launch they removed "Full Controller support" on the steam page and replaced the default config with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouse and keyboard one.

I love Valve but do they remember the Steam Deck?? I have a disability and can't play with a mouse for more than a single match. The binds were some of the best I've seen in a game... ever. It feels so good to play controller on this game, and it's just taken away. Removing accessibility is NOT a good thing especially now that controller + gyro is on the same level as KBM. I understand the game is unfinished but I'm still going to post this anyway.

It's quite sad because I've played CS:GO with the Steam Deck and PS5 controller, and it was amazing to play. It offered us Gyro and Flick Stick as in-game options. It allows controller players to have mouse-like aiming when moving the controller around. When Counter-Strike 2 came around, I was severely disappointed because they removed the Full Controller Support, and removed the tag also. Maybe within the next 10 years they'll re-implement the native gyro/flick stick controller settings. And then I might reconsider play the game again.

In the meantime, you're going to have to make a controller layout from scratch, binding keys to the controller buttons and bind mouse input to Gyro. I made one for CS2, named after the TF2 Youtuber, SolarLight.

I think they're just starting from scratch. From what I've heard, CS:GO's controller support was a mess.

CS2 Launched in a very unfinished state, so here's to hoping they're already working on it!
