Will i get ban for farming skin/case drop?

I was just wondering if will i get ban for farming cases on my smurf account and then gift it to my main to sell? is it prohibited by steam? or my main account is totally safe?

It depends. You might get banned by mods in community servers, kicked from official servers only if afk. You have to play the game. Just use both accounts every midweek.

you get more xp if you actually play the match properly and it goes faster to level up that way

ofc there will be common drops and the price of the most common drops will be low..but what..do you complain that we get free money from steam now ?

Sorry for my term "farming" what i'm trying to say is i have a smurf account that i play cause sometimes i just want to solo queue and not play with my friends and i get skin/case drop from it for playing, i know it's not much but sometimes enough to buy games during steam sale. So i was wondering if i could gift these drops to my main account everytime i get one and sell it without risking my main account getting ban.

You should be fine but I advise if against smurfing, just because it ruins games for people in lower ranks.

Thanks for confirming bro,Yes i'm aware of that so during those games where you have to win 10 games to get your rank i'm always trying to level my skills whenever i felt like it's a low level ranks or sometimes explaining to them that i'm smurfing cause you can't fake your raw aim and low rank are not used to that. I also ask my enemy to play with me and i'm willing to teach them some stuff too. Now i got my rank and it's close with my main only 1 rank below so no worries now.

If you want to farm for 3 cent skins/cases you only will get 1 cent by selling then I recommend you to just get a job since electricy bills will be higher than the drop value in the end.

i can not even sell those cheap skins on market. always remove them from inventory

i could get $1 / week from free booster packs while you get $0.03 from your "farming" + waste many hours.
