Why do people hate people with anime profile pictures?

Recently I have played CS:GO in competative and every game I join without full premade there is at least one people who call me and my friends who have anime profile pictures and artwork weaboos and post really rude comments on profiles, I think it is really inapropriate and not fun.
Why are people in internet so negative towards anime and people who like it?
People just trashing me in games makes me want to grief and not to preform as well as i should.
I think every players worth should be how good he/she is in the game and not what he likes.
The community is getting worse and worse by the time, soon we have community as toxic as dota.

People automatically assume that if you enjoy something that came from somewhere other than your birth country, you obviously despise your original nationality. "Oh, he likes animated TV shows from Japan! HE HATES HIS BIRTH COUNTRY!" Or whatever. Don't let it bother ya, they're wee little scrubs anyway.

Im an anime lover, but none of this is offensive to me really :P I just like the art style and music in many of the animes that i watch like "Your lie in april" and "Black Butler".

and they are doing the right thing by calling you that way, checked your profile and there is porn content in it. May i ask, are you proud of it ? Why you are proud of it ? Why in the first place you want to share with all of us about it ? and in so open way ? keep it private and move on. Another thing, you have already noted that there are people out there, who don't like it, and won't appreciate it. So basically you don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about that opinion. May I ask to spesify what pornographic material you are referring to? Since all my screenshots are taken from steam games, and as far as i know steam does not support pornographic materials as parts of its games. sadly they release all their games sensored of sex scenes etc. (please correct if i am wrong), also I am not advertising anything as far as i know, I am just making a point that there are people like you that get mad at everything that does not support their views.
