When can we expect source 2 port for this game?

Jeez nobody gives a ♥♥♥♥ about a post that's really related to CSGO and they reply to useless threads

Probably never, CS:GO doesn't need a Source 2 port. Atleast I don't think it's needed.

Maybe because nobody except valve knows the answer?

Then valve should give an official statment if the game is going to get it or not

That's not how valve does things. After team fortress 2, they just do things, and then announce it.

It's also worth mentioning that anything on source that's somewhat current will be ported.

Perhaps old stuff too. Valve tends to do that.

nope not necessary everyone is running on 64bit tickrate so it's fair
The Source 2 Engine port would be useful for those with good gaming pc-s, as it was already proven that the new "Nuke" map was ready for the engine. This was checked, as pc-s with worse gpu's, cpu's and ram had lower fps on nuke, compared to other maps as Dust 2 and Inferno.

It would be useful for the gamers with good pc-s, as the particles and maps would be updated, so the smokes or molotov smoke would be better and there wont be any hiding spots the ct's/t's can use, which makes them hard to see because they have something in the background which makes them hard to see, like that spot on dust 2.
Between long and A site, there was a spot where ct's could hide since the smoke from a burning car and green painted background, which was painted the same color as ct's on the team.
ValvE updated the map, and made it fair to play it now, but the fps count dropped for some players, since again, they updated the map.

Better netcode less cheats as i suppose the current wouldnt work on source 2, would need code update. Additionally MMs would be less biased ( you know these are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of cheap servers hosted in 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cities FOR ENTIRE EUROPE AND RUSSIA, at least they could have spread them among all the countries, less ping, no communication problems, but no, it was the cheapest option, then so be it. And yeah, 64 tick is pretty bad (optimization for example)

CS:GO doesn't need Source 2, the game is doing fine as it is right now.

If ever, a new CS game will be released using Source. Its better to create a new game to show off the new capabilities of the engine.

I recommend to watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTj3LNi5B6Q

If CS:GO needs something to be improved than it is the anti cheat system(VAC).
