CS:GO GTX 750 Ti

Hi my Dear Steam Community,

I just upgraded my friends PC:

AMD A6 5400K 3.6GHz Dual Core
MSI a55m e33 motherboard with integrated graphics
8GB Kingston HyperX
500HDD Western Digital at 5200RPM

with this hardware he had like round 50-80 FPS on low/medium settings.

I upgraded his system with Zotiac GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB DDR5 128bit.

But the FPS in game has not changed at all, it is even lower sometimes. I know that he should easily play on 150+ with his 1280x800 resolution and medium settings.

P.S. We are using slots from GPU not from the motherboard.


Anybody any solutions?

Hm, can I hijack your thread. xD I just bought a 750ti 2GB and when I play csgo, i only get max 70fps. My system spec is as below;

FX4100 3.6Ghz
GA-970A-D3 Rev 1.0
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1333Mhz
Asus GTX 750Ti 2GB

And since im using an amd pc, i dont think there is onboard graphics. Is my cpu bottlenecking it? The drivers for 750Ti is updated to the latest. And in CSGO settings I have set it to Windowed Mode, disabled most of the AA and a few of the feature which demands high gpu usage. The other details and all is set at high. Any ideas?

I upgraded to gtx 750ti also half a year ago, before i had 60fps and now runs around 200-250, depending on the map, like cache i got around 150

Yeah, you might need to buy faster ram. Im not 100% sure if the ram is causing the slowdown

Ah.. I doubt so my ram is the problem as its Corsair. Corsair is a good brand.. xD Maybe I need to tweak the voltage as its an old mobo, the legacy type. xD

I kinda expected that my CPU might be bottlenecking the gpu.. lol. haihs.. need to spend about RM400 here for a new cpu.. xD
