0.5 - 1 second freeze lag upon seeing an enemy
When i play competetive I get freeze lag upon seeing an enemy for like half to one second. It doesn't happen every time but it happens maybe once every fith time. It's really annoying and it sounds like a bad excuse whenever I fail 1v1's :D. Could someone help me out please? :)

Hey m8.
I know how to fix this 100% I had the same problem- Go to Steam, Settings Steam Overlay and turn that off. Go to libary csgo properties steam overlay off and then restart. U dont have the overlay anymore but it fixes 100%

Might be, have you made sure you got all your software up to date? Could be a possible problem

Probably not enough RAM or a low end cpu. Lower end cpu's can cause stuttering. Also for some reason, and this is where it gets freaky, changing your hard drive can fix this. I used to get awful stuttering whenever an enemy peeked out and I fixed it by buying a new hard drive. I cloned my old drive over to the new one with every single file the exact same (Cloned). For some reason this fixed my stuttering and havn't been bothered since.
