If you build a powerful gaming PC always go for Intel. (I get up to 500fps with an i5 3570k and a ati HD7870, lowest 350fps on nuke... and the cpu and gpu are older than 4years)
That doesnt matter even 1 of his cards is very good. But source depends much more on CPU than GPU.
his card is the same card you have... its just a refresh
Oh ok, but I get more than 2x his FPS.
your cpu is more powerful but you could also be playing at different resolutions, settings, ect.
@OP: Resolution?
Thx for your reply
I don't think it's bcoz overheating. Coz even I just start up my PC and go play CS straight away, still the same problem. the fluctuation range very far. I have Corsair Link installed, when it's in gaming, it automatically full speed the fans when in high temp. btw may I ask what CPU that you're using? what setting? well for me, I use 1920 x 1080, with all the settings I mentioned above
At Dust 2, my fps could reach 200+, but if Wildfire maps like Tulip or Nuke, could go down until 50 ish. If CS:GO doesn't support multi GPU, so I better sell one
thx for the reply.
oh really?? if it's true, then it's problem solved. because as I said earlier, I was wondering why the one I watched on youtube with single GPU 280X, perform very similar to my dual GPU 280X. I was curious what's wrong with my CF. And yes the one on youtube is higher fps than mine, but he was using Intel. If really Intel is the one boosting the fps. so heavy bottleneck on my current cpu
you should try overclocking, i have the same cpu [well fx 8350] at 5.0ghz and it gave a huge fps boost.
I never OC, don't understand anything about it. I once tried, and it hung. so since then I'm so afraid to try again. what country do you live in? Same weather as Indonesia? Will my Corsair Cooler could hold that high? And would you mind share the setting of all that you changed to reached 5.0 Ghz? Thx
I did, and no different :(
that cooler should be more than enough. all i did was give teh cpu a lil voltage and up teh multi
well it's too late now. I have bought i7 6700K, MSI Z170A Gaming 5 and 16GB ram. Will try to assemble this weekend. Hope they will perform better than my current FX-8700K
thx bro
