My Knife was changed and now looks terrible

I bought a rust coat BS talon knife as I like the brown and cream colours as they matched the gloves I also use on my account. I logged on to find the skin was changed so that the knife was now an ugly blue with small rusty areas. Even as max float the knife will not be brown.

This is not ok as the knife itself is shown differently in the icon for it when looking through my inventory on steam.

This skin should be reverted to its colours from CS:GO as it’s completely unfair for valve to profit from misleading imagery.

Fact: you can inspect a skin in game before buying it.

Second, the thumbnail now was from CSGO instead of CS2. Valve didnt mean to create a mismatch - they simply didnt update them. Moreover, all skins are subject to tweaks and fixes at the moment. You never know what your skins may look like tomorrow. But they are clearly trying to make skins look like in CSGO as much as possible.

Edit: I also forget to mention that some other guys prefer the new look in CS2. ;)

[Fact] I bought the skin when a while ago before CS2 ;)

The thumbnail mismatch is ridiculous when I’m dealing with hundreds of euros worth of items ;)

It looks like ass, considering I bought it to pair with my leather hand wraps ;)

It’s actually so annoying, I wouldn’t mind even if they were just slightly altered but it’s completely ruined the look of my load out which loved and had for almost 2 years now

They messed up my friends blue steel classic knife bad it looks all green and moldy now
