CSGO is still playable but with limited functionality

CS:GO is still there but it is hidden in the betas tab which is found by right clicking on Counter Strike 2 and selecting properties. On the betas tab go down to "csgo_legacy - Legacy Version of CS:GO" and select that. Close the tab and the game should start downloading. When it has finished downloading click on play on Counter Strike 2 in your steam library and a menu should pop up and ask you to select between two or more radio buttons. Select play legacy version of CS:GO and click on play and the game should launch. If the launch option menu doesn't show right click on Counter Strike 2, scroll down to launch options, click on the drop down menu and select "ask when starting game" and close the tab. Click play on counter strike 2 from your Steam library and the launch menu should pop up.

FYI there is no matchmaking: deathmatch casual, competitive, wingman, war game and danger zone. They are still playable with bots and LAN with the exception of danger zone. Community servers are still playable much like with the older versions of Counter Strike.
I'm not sure about items and other functionality so forgive me if I don't know about them.

Did you check in your properties under launch options for it to ask you when starting the game?
