might not be this exact command I don't know if it has changed in the source 2 console
Select your desired refresh rate, apply and save.
Boot up CS2, select the resolution you created and you should be able to adjust the refresh rate in CS2.
If it doesnt fluctuate (so like anything below 60 up to 60) or switches between 30 and 60 AND youre playing on a 60Hz monitor then its very likely that there is some kind of VSync enabled (double check your global nvidia settings in that case).
Also check what max fps is set to (in cs2)
And your monitor supports more than 60 hz ?
It won't work if your monitor settings says 60 hz or if your windows settings say same.
Nvidia is separate from those two.
Even on custom it will be ignored if those 2 say 60 hz.
Also in nvidia you need use highest refresh rate on.
Don't use vysync as that would just go back to 60 hz.
Tell us your monitor model I can Google why faster.
Go to nvidia , help system information or just windows system information or steam help , I need exact model , the LG 2k has like 100 models
You connect display port or hdmi?

Add game to nvidia panel maybe it's not there.
Open Steam, right-click Counter Strike, then go to Properties. Search for Set launch options and type -freq (desired refresh rate) like -freq 75.
