Competitive ranking and matchmaking

Hello there. Another confused CS2 player typing. I have played recently some competitive games,got my rank on de_dust 2 and it was silver elite master, 30 wins later i managed to get gold nova 3, was on a winstreak,but yesterday i only lost one game and i got deranked. HUH? In what world is that even possible and what is this system. Also, premier matches are hella unbalanced, theres people who either have rating way too high for their actual skill and as a solo player 8 out of 10 games i got matched against 5 stacks which by default increases the game difficulty.

I am wondering, what is your guys cs2 experience so far in competitive/premier?

Still waiting for cl_righthand 0 and some matchmaking or performance tweaks.

Same as CSGO, its not based on xx amount of wins to gain rank. And its not based on lose xx to derank.

Its skill based, its not an RPG where you rank up after winning 3 games.

Idk,for me the system feels unbalanced,uncertain and unpolished. Also some rewards for premier shouls be nice imo, when season ends. A badge or some sort of medal.
