Gaming laptop recommendations?

Something that can handle CS2 really well. And last a long time. Budget up to $1.5K probably. Looking for a friend, so I don't have other specific demands. Something that will not overheat and play close to max settings.

Is the need for a laptop because of space or playing away from home , if not Laptops are good but expensive but for that budget you can build gaming pc .

Exactly. With 1.5k he can buy a top tier gaming pc. With 1.5k he can barely buy a gaming laptop which will be outdated in one year.

Gaming laptops are always a hard waste of money. Never buy gaming laptops.

Yep I agree. But it's not for me. Just need it to play CS2 basically. So outdated doesn't matter unless CS2 gets more demanding?

Your friend would have a good experience building there first gaming pc its not hard at all ,
but a intel i7 13700k -32gb ram -rtx3060 12 gb gaming pc just from browsing the other day when someone else asked , a half decent pc that gets 300-400 fps on this game and other AAA games for under 1k i added all the parts i selected it was 850 for the build , i built one its pretty good .

The portability is a huge factor though. I should have mentioned, since it seems people are just recommending PC's instead lol.

The laptops i think would suit them are above i watched some videos and these look cool , you might get a razor blade 15 for 1500 pre owned .

I game on an Asus Tuf A15 laptop. Holds up really well with cs2, gta, and cod. On amazon they go for about 1k-1.4k

Razor blade 15 are around 1299 preowned , if i was going to get a laptop for gaming id love this .

Just build a lan box and put a monitor on it. problem solved.

Make sure it has easy bottom cover removal. Laptops will need to be cleaned more often than desktops or you will risk killing them
