Weekly drop grind takes so long
I don't understand why it feels like the weekly drops takes lik 30+ matches to grind for; I don't know my casual rank/level, it is like lieutenant or something but it feels like it takes 3-4 dozen games a week to get my weekly drop. I don't understand why Valve punishes the people who played the game the longest with the hardest to grind drops. It should be a set amount of XP that everybody has to hit instead of variable levels based on what your profile rank
I'd just like my weekly drop in 10-15 games, I have a life outside of CS but I don't deserve to never get drops because I only have time for 1-3 games a night

You only get a drop on the first rank up of the week depending on when you got your first drop. You also get a "huge" xp boost at that beginning of that week. There is no way it takes u 3-4 dozen games except if you play wingman and leave the matches half of the time

Its probably for new players to keep playing the game, it slowly gets harder for them too. Loyal players aren't going to quit over weekly drops and valve knows that. (Im a new player so these are my thoughts)

It is free money for playing a game I enjoy why wouldn't I aim to get the 5-90 dollar cases or gun skins for purchasing games I want

Here are two screenshots of the first game I had finished of the weekly reset and I admit I did poorly but i usually do poorly in CS and that shouldn't mean I get less XP for it, I still participated in the whole game; it is like this constantly regardless of the number of games I played

Nvm about what i said earlier, you're just kinda bad at the game. Looks like weekly bonus is the same for everyone. If ranked is too hard go grind on deathmatch or smth. Don't complain that its hard to grind when the solution is just playing better or playing other game modes.

In your case I’d stick to deathmatches. Xp is based on how you perform during a match so kills is what matters most, and those are easier to get in a deathmatch.

It's kinda easy when you listen to the G'd up sound. Pioneer speakers bumping as you smoke on the pound.

the experience you get is based on your performance. if you're playing a free for all game mode like deathmatch, that's your personal performance. if you play a team game mode like casual or competitive, it's based on how many rounds your team wins.

if you're not dominating at the game, play a team game mode and you'll get more experience.

as some have already said, it only takes 1-2 matches. experience you gain, depends on your performance .. so perhaps you're just a bot and not doing anything at all?

Yep you got me, I've got a steam account for 15 years and I'm a bot; nope I am just bad at counter-strike, hence why i stick to casual but why should I be punished, I played the entire game length same as everyone else just got shot in the head immediately while coming around the corner 10 times; I've played CS for over 10 years so why should I be penalized by Valve's drop system for being bad at the game? Surely Valve could implement a system for people with Premier status + a certain amount of time owning CS to receive drops based on a number of games instead of performance within said games.
