CS2 is really demanding ?
Ive seen certain forums and discussion related to people saying cs2 is demanding i used to play csgo without any issues etc.

Note: CS2 is an all new title in the cs franchise with huge overhaul and improvements in many categories and ways from CSGO dont blame the developers if ur desktop/laptop dosent even meet the minimum system requirements also CSGO was out in 2012 had issues seen major changes after 2016 people had the same issues and complaints all new games need time and bug fixes happen along the way people need to wait till cs2 is stable or u have a better pc to run it

No, it is just spoiled people that think that getting 999fps instead of 1000 is gonna ruin their non existent ''PRO E-Sport'' career

I have a low end pc and still get 90 to 120 fps on high, same as in CSGO(but in csgo was with very high)

on par with modern games, not the most demanding.
but it has some rough edges which should be fixed.

Rough edges as explained are bugs causing performance issues all new games when released recieve hate until its stable and i mean i did see the sytem requirements and im like people even below the minimum specs easily achieve 100fps on low sett and then comes in the people with potato 90s build system that cant even run CS 1.6 complain what a world

No, if you have a rig from like 2015 you shouldnt have any issue running the game on the highest settings in 1080p with atleast 60 fps

60fps is not the goal for users playing CS titles for long time and its a competitive game which requires faster reaction times people usually aim for anything above 100fps and a rig lets say a low end one from 2015 getting 60fps lets say the server is under load its gonna dip below 60fps soo yes its not a ideal choice unless its a high end rig from 2015.

CS2 is not overly demanding but here are some things to note
if your are trying to play the game on hardware older than 2013 just stop.
people expecting amazing performance for a 2023 game with hardware older than the ps4.

the days of super high framerates like pushing into the 500 and above are over.
cs2 actually uses your GPU now to do a lot of work unlike in csgo. so your framerates take a nose dive from csgo.
but the benefit is now the game is not super cpu bound and with nvidia reflex and source 2being a much better engine. the actual end to end system latency is lower than CSGO meaning that even if your say 200fps it should feel smoother than csgo at 500+.
(assuming the frametime bug is fixed soon)

CS2 needs a decent dedicated GPU
in csgo your CPU did all the work and the GPU didn't do much.
You could get away with decent performance with a decent CPU but absolute garbage GPU.
in cs2 this is no longer the case.

Broo CS2 is surely using a lot of resources tho why because valve decided to add soo many objects and design elements in map that the game becomes unstable soo valve decided they wanted quality users to play CS2 and talking about the 500+fps days gone any gpu let is be rtx or gtx having series above 60 ie 1060 is capable of hitting 300fps i blame the devs its a competitve game

i have an i3 10105f with a rx 5700 xt and now the game gets bottlenecked (less than 60 fps sometimes)

Buy new pc , now prices for rtx 3080 went like 100% down compared to 2 years ago.

(Now they sell from 1500£ i mean entire pc with 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 13700KF and all other components. )

The gpu alone is like 500£ now

If you build it yourself you can save more money as well

Even 10 year old mid tier rigs still get 150 fps easily. There isn't another game which gives people as much fps as CS does. Maybe Valorant is on the same level.

I still believe CS2 is badly optimized. My FPS stays pretty much the same regardless if I'm using low or high quality (it only drops when I set to ultra), it doesn't make any sense. (3060 12GB + 5600G)

I understand source 2 is more demanding, but I still think many people complaining have a point.

"CS2 is an all new title in the cs franchise with huge overhaul and improvements in many categories and ways from CSGO"

No, CS2 is steam polishing a ♥♥♥♥ and calling it a new game. They're so lazy they didn't even create a new game, they just upgraded CS:GO. I'm sorry but this game is ♥♥♥♥. It crashes a lot for me, It's literally just better graphics and a few "cool features" we never had before. And its literally THE SAME ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME. They don't even have achievements yet but wiped off all the achievements us CS:GO players had before the revamping.

This was a piss poor decision for steam to go about it this way instead of creating a new game or idk... cloning CS:GO and creating a "new game" thats not just taking over CS:GO with an overhaul and pretending like its a "new game for the franchise" Who the ♥♥♥♥ does this as a cheap trick to make money other than steam? no one.

Im not sure but an upgrade is in the need here its more demanding unless VALVE decides to remove all use less objects in the map also the devs should undrestand its a competitive game and majority players have potato PC's

A 10year old mid tier rig are u speaking for CSGO cause CS2 aint no way running unless ur mid tier rig has a powerful gpu
