Storage Space

Now there is something weird i found out....
On CS2 properties it says it take like 35gb, on steam "settings" it says also 35gb, but in the file directory it takes 95GB OF SPACE?? WTH??
First of all, why isn't this said in the first place?
Second of all, can i delete the "useless" files? I like CS2, but i don't have storage to throw around.
I just wanted to download another game and found out i have kinda less space than i expected...
