So uhh, the game is Free to Play now?

What about those of us who paid for the game at full price? Do we get nothing at all? Yea, I have low playtime sure, I mainly played vs bots with a friend. Can someone explain how the ♥♥♥♥ is that fair to those of us who paid for the game that it's now just 100% F2P?

I think you payed for prime, not the game. I could be mistaken of course.

You have the premier version of the game that you don’t have to pay monthly for.. if you owned the game when it wasn’t free.. what this monthly membership gives is you only que up with other premier members so less hackers I will assume

The game is free since 2018.
If you bought the game before, you got the Prime Status in CS:GO / CS2.
People with Prime Status are matched together.
People without Prime Status can play only non-Prime matches and are not able to play ranked gamemodes, also they don't get any ingame item drops.

Because I only just noticed with the changeover, I havent touched the game in a few years.

I care because I *paid* for the game, and get nothing of value out of having spent 40$ on it when I got it other than some "Prime Status" that will literally never be used because I only ever mess around with bots.
