Thoughts on CS2

Well I have played about 12 hours and figured I would put my thoughts up for comment.

The game looks good
Don't like the new theme music much, maybe it will grow on me
The sound still needs work, I feel like I can hear better than CSGO but direction is still a bit off
The movement feels good, maybe a bit easier to make jumps and stuff but also maybe a bit harder to hit players who are jinking around.
I would prefer to be able to choose Free for All or Team Deathmatch. I like to practice shooting and making sure I am shooting the correct team. Free for all is good for a bit to practice flicking but if I want to just chill, team deathmatch is just right, FFA is a spawn and die simulator with the amount of players on servers at the moment.
The buy menu took some getting used to but is OK, buying for teammates is easier.
Maps look similar but I need to learn new lineups, so many failed nades lol.
Lots of reports of cheaters, maybe a bit overblown. so far I put it down to I just suck, have seen no blatant cheating as yet.
Match making seems messy at the moment, playing with and against players of all different ranks makes for a bit of a miserable experience. I would not recommend solo Q, try and get a team together.
10 wins on a map for a rank seems a bit much, learning the maps again means a long time before getting ranks unless you play each map until you are sick of it.

I don't reckon I will miss CSGO, I am relieved that they didn't lose the core of the game and hope they continue to improve what's there.
Was it a big enough step forward to justify the change? In playing maybe not, but in updates, future development and improvements to the game, I hope so.
I am very interested to see the first CS2 tournament.

Good foundation, lacks content, premier MM is ass (but the idea behind it is great). That's it :D

If you are on acid trip this pre-beta release is maybe fine, but gameplay is wobbly and game is mainly trash

visual overhaul and looks pretty, but in terms of gameplay i miss csgo, csgo feels better, i want csgo

Movement is soo bad. Gunsprey is ridicules feels like you are under water. Game lag all over the place (I have a 1000/1000 fiber and rtx2080).

But most ridicules is the fact that Valva failed so badly in the 'corner' problems = enemies can shoot you without you are able to see them. This bug they promised to fix, but they failed in the most terrible way.
