After 1000 tries to fix the CS2 crashing problem...
I finally give up.

I've never seen a game before, where I had to put so much hours to make it run as intended.
I've verified all the game files, updated all the drivers, messed around with diffrent startoptions, removed them, tried all possible in game settings and whatever to make it run.

I get up to 220 FPS in game, yet the game constantly crashing with a frozen screen and I have to close it wiwth the task manager.

There is no way its on my end, since I have pretty mid specs and no game had this kind of bugs, which I experience in CS2. Its just unplayable for me and I cant fix the problem, even tho I've literally smashed the world wide web with tons of guides, which were supposed to help to fix the crashes.

I really like CS2, and I've never thought I would say that I miss CS:GO, when CS2 releases, but I definantly miss CS:GO now, because I've never had this bug on it, while I've never had to try 1000 variations to make the game run.

GG valve. Glad you released it in (after the end) summer but before it was really playable.

Since there alot more ppl then me, who experience this, dont tell me I have to get a better PC. My PC runs every other game on good settings and the games never crashed.

The time periods before the crash occurs is so random. Sometimes its after 8 minutes in game.. sometimes its only 1-2 minutes

Update to what I've noticed for the crashes.

Everytime I freshly launch the game, when the PC freshly booted, I can play 1 full Deathmatch without any crash, but the 2nd game I crash after like 1 - 2 minutes and after this 1st crash, and the force close through task manager, the next crashes of the game happen after like 2-5 minutes.

for some weird ass reason, I can play deathmatch without any problem... but the moment I start to play Casual or Competitive, the game randomly freezes, it can be after 3 rounds, or after 6 rounds... but it ended up aaaalways freezing...
and the worst part is that I can't even open task manager, the screen end up all black and all I can do is just reboot my pc

thats kinda crazy, because I experience the same trash, and I've also noticed: If I play the game on fullscreen the game is crashing with a black screen, the same what you've experienced, but if I play on windowed mode the game freezes. matter fact in both situations I have close the game via task manager...

Same happens to me, the only thing that helps me is going to D:\Steam\userdata\407932695\730\local folder and deleting th CFG folder
after that I just set everything to low and play on my native resolution
if I change a single thing, a little single thing, the game crashes later

I don't think it will get ever fixed, I'm starting to believe its related to the Subtick bs they introduced
every time the game crashes, I look at net graph and I see A red area coming up
Game is unplayable at the moment, Will just go play Insurgency

if u want to close it after it freezes press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and select task manager, it won't come up but it wil allow u to press CTRL+ECHAP and close steam, the game will close

or the easier thing is before opening the game, u open task manager, go to option and select Always on top, thats when u can press CTRL+SHIFT+ECHAP to open task manager

this is so unhelpful, since I know how to close the game, it doesnt help me at the problem itself at all.
same problem

I kinda get the same issue but a little different. For me, no matter the game mode or the time I've been playing, after literally 2 minutes, my game will start freezing for 5 seconds, then unfreezes with the keybind toggled by themself. So there's the 5 seconds freeze + 5 seconds where my character is moving alone and I cant do anything. It does it like every round for some reason even though I have 300+ fps. That game sucks

the guy complained that he restart his pc and can't open task manger so I gave him the short answer to not do that, how tf is it unhelpful ?
the reply wasn't even for u
if u want the game to work no one has a stable solution, write to Valve's Support at cs2team [at] valvesoftware [dot] com and title your email: "CS2LT Bug", meanwhile go play something else

have you tried
fresh install of windows
bios update
checking for a bad gpu overclock
checking gpu health
checking ssd health
fresh cs2 install (delete the entire folder from the drive an uncheck steam cloud not just unistall from steam)
