You can't change, get better ping or use a VPN to get higher ping to maybe get server from a other country.

i remember somewhere in another game discussion, like wartales or something, people were having a problem connecting with eachother on multiplayer, and a dev said to change country region in steam settings or something.

I play mostly with russians and they are toxic or leave games on premier games after 1 or 2 rounds... that way i droped my rank from 10k to 5k.... would be nice to stop play with russians and rather play with ppl who speaks in english

no, you arent doing anything illegal by connecting to austrian servers. It only becomes bannable once you use it to buy games that are cheaper in other regions or the ones that arent available in your region

Not sure what happen here but yes you can use a vpn to play on cs2, many pros are using that.

Its only against the tos when you using a vps to change or bypass stuff that are banned or getting stuff cheaper but that have been change so you need to pay with a card from that country now so.
