New serious glitch in CS2, I was kicked out of a casual match for "damaging allies"

Hello, just now I was playing cs_italy with friends and when I went to shoot a player from the enemy team (I was on TR), right at the moment I shot him I was automatically kicked out of the server and the message "caused a lot of damage to allies" appeared on the screen. Unfortunately I was unable to save the log that appeared on the console and I was also unable to return to the server.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Bizarre to say the least.

Yeah to me like 10 minutes ago no idea why. Was spamming smoke with negev on anubis.

Wow, so this is really serious. I opened a ticket with the support for CS2, I hope they read it.

At least I did my part, it's good that everyone warn them, so who knows, maybe they can identify the problem and fix it!

Hey Valve just launched an update, 1.1gb. Let's hope that fix it. o/

They did not fix it. A friend of mine just got kicked on a casual match for the same reason minutes ago, after the update.

Still not fix. I was ct in mirage (casual match), rush into T base during warm up and shot a afk terrorist for like 10-20 times using mp9 close range he didn't die but i was kick for dealing excessive team damage as well.

Do note, i got another team mate shot him for like 10 over times using pistol , he just won't die. Blood spilled all over the floor just incase anyone thinks we miss all those shot lol.

This just happened to me as well. I was shooting at 2 CTs as a T in Office down the long hallway, and as soon as I hit one of them it disconnected me for team damage.

A friend of mine told me the same thing today, October 15th/2023. They still didn't fixed that...
