Cheaters in CS2 and Valve's Anti-Cheat

This is very annoying and I am heartbroken.

I have loved the counter Strike series since I was in High School (2015). With cheaters in CS:GO being a huge issue and now seeing it in CS2 with Valve's "AI Anti-Cheat", I am utterly disgusted.

Last Night, after a hard days work from 8 am - 6 m I wanted to platy some competitive games with a few friends. Now that you have to get 10 wins on each competitive map, this is going to be a grind for us. Even more now that we are all out of college and have real jobs, to is hard to play more than 3 games a night. Two out of the Three matches we played last night had at least 1 cheater in the game. Being so utterly blatant; pre-firing everything, hitting one taps through walls and smoke, and on top of that, when we called them out on cheating, they got extremely racist and making homophobic comments.

Why can't Valve own up and finally create a good anti-cheat? Maybe one like their main competitor Valorant has. If Valve makes a downloadable anti-cheat, it would most likely reduce a lot of cheaters, or at the very least discourage cheaters from cheating. Now, I know Valorant also has cheaters, but the ratio of players and cheaters is slim compared so Counter Strike's player base. Maybe Valve should be IP/Hardware BANNING cheaters from just buying a new account and cheating on an alt.

Another topic I'd like to discuss is their Trust Factor. I think this is the dumbest thing they could have ever done. New players instantly going into low trust just because their Steam account is new and they're new to PC gaming. What if they wanted to play CS2 for the first time on their brand new PC and just created a Steam account? Now they are automatically in Low Trust playing against a bunch of cheaters, discouraged from ever playing CS2 again and missing the chance to join a great community.

Please Valve, we aren't asking for a lot here. I've seen $0.50 games with anti-cheats that actually work. Just please do us 2 things: Get an incredible Anti-Cheat in which you have to download it onto the player's PC. We all know you have the funds to do so since you are a Multi-Billion dollar Company. The other is to entirely get rid of Trust Factor.

People have cheated since its inception at beta .99 in 1999. I have been there since the beginning of CS. Fact is Halflife game of the year edition had Team fortress classic and I may say I have seen cheats used in that. This is as far back as 1999 and other games played online where riddled with cheaters. Now to say that cs2 is infested i can concur same a s s hats and same idiots i supect of cheating are now screwing it up for others also and if you do call them out they votekick you or say really nasty things to you. Its sad that its come to this but CS2 is a dud at the beginning before it went out to anyone. The devs on this one are stupid and so is the public. let me say why. First off we know that the source 2 engine code had been leaked. second we know that it was passed to cheat devs, We also know its a back door to your client. this means that hackers can and do get into your pc using CS2 code. I have had my ♥♥♥♥ on my pc changed from video card settings to mouse being removed from device manager. This game is a huge security issue and will be till they get a real anti cheat that locks ♥♥♥♥ down.

After 3 months of waiting fot the game to update and to be playable.. i installed again. I can play now, its moves better, and fps increased, but.. when i went to casual mode... guess what>?? 3 cheaters! i mean cheater.. they were looking throw the walls, shooting in walls exactly in players positions, etc.

The game is still a crap until the vac live will be on.

Honestly, the most doable solution is to request personal validation + information, face scan, documents, address proof, etc. To create a Steam account, if you get banned, you can't use your information anymore.

Of course it still bypassable but it would make it at least a stronger defense system against cheaters.

trust factor takes your entire acc into consideration not just your behavior in CS/Valve games. looking at your acc it seems like you wouldn't have bad trust.

with that being said either trust factor doesn't work right now or hackers can manipulate it

Thanks for your comment. It seems that used to work well in CS:GO, but here at CS2, 9 out of 10 marches has a cheater. All of these I’ve watched the demo cautiously to remove every doubt. I’m sure that my method, combined with a more intrusive anti cheater would fix the current status of CS2 (not just CS2) cheating.
