Cannot play with my friend

Hello, i cannot play with my friend for some reason, when he tries to join, the game says "Cannot establish connection to the server"/"game" or something idk i forgot. Can somebody help me?

Ask your friend to make a post, with a description of the error message. Instead of i dont know, what ever.

Are you talking about when you doing your own loppy and starting a practice server on your local computer or are we talking about he can't join a rankt game?

i make my own party and i turn on practice so we can play 1v1 with bots and he cant join so cant i

That one dosent work in cs2, welcome to early beta cs2 haha, you have to host your own server to do that for now.

Is it even possible to play practice multiplayer? I think you need to start a private match and give your friend the generated code to join your private server.

On the upper side where you choose the game modes, you can choose private. There is a code your friends can use to join your private lobbies. Didnt try it out myself though if it even works. But as far as i got it its the best option to host private matches for now.

Oh that one will work, was thinking they wanted to do pracctis stuff, dont believe you can do a pracc stuff in a private match to see on a little windows showing where the smoke will land.
