Stuttering microstutters
I have tried every fix i could find on reddit and the internet. Still no fix to the microstutters. I have a i5 13500 rtx 4070 64 gb ddr4 ram. Had zero issues ever on CSGO. I am tried deleting the shader caches, nvidia control panel settings, v-sync everything, still have not gotten rid of this problem. How many of you are still getting the stutters? This is the only game that is affected

If u have tried everything all u can do is wait for Valve to push some kind of update that fixes ur issue, game here is running very smooth on a 4090.

Oh-oh-oh dear, it sounds like your PC is playing a game of st-st-stutter tag and forgot to say, "N-n-no tag-backs!" Have you tried turning it off and on again, or is it too busy doing the cha-cha slide on repeat? 😅 Every time I try to count the st-st-stutters, I end up playing a game of hopscotch instead!

Same here. CS:GO was fine, skip one week ahead with no changes to drivers/OS and CS2 comes, runs like a stuttery mess even on low settings.

Only semblance of advice I have is, don't spend any more time on it. Let valve fix it, it's their responsibility.

Several people have this issue, even people on steamdeck have complained about this, so it's pretty clear the ball's in valve's court here.

Same here, CS GO was running fine, this is just a mess. I have 200-300 fps and yet the game stutter the whole time.

There a Bug in both AMD and Nvidia GPU Drivers if you had a AMD graphics card I can give you my guide to fix the problem! I don't have a NVIDIA graphics card so the best thing I can help you with is to tell you what to search for and see if there's someone out there that has found a fix for the Nvidia version! Google are Youtube "NVIDIA GPU Shader Cache Fix" and see what you can find! If you cannot find anything you're going to have to deal with it until they fix their drivers! Good Luck!

I've been playing for a while now but ever since they gave the update from a few days ago, along with the AMD Driver update, my game has been stuttering non stop.

The issue is CS2/Drivers, not your hardware.

Yeah no i get that, it's just windows register edits can have some real really bad consequences for your windows stability etc, the game might run better but at what cost? OG i would just wait for Valve to fix it before tinkering with these kind of settings.

To be honest if it wasn't legit steam would not allow this guide to go through they're extremely strict with this type of stuff plus you can see how many people has viewed and favored it you can read the comments to see what people say!

I just have this horror scenario in my head of people that encounter issues with the game, temporary "fix" the issue by using reg edits, potentially break windows, then prob next week or 2 Valve release an update fixing these issues and the people using reg edits will encounter problems again, but the people that didnt alter anything will have no issues, will the people will alterd regs follow another steam guide to fix their issues? I'm still advocating for just being patient but i can see a regular player wanting a quick fix, althrough all the alarm bells go off in my head even when it's "a" "legit" temp fix.

But like u said i can't force anyone either to do anything just giving my 2 cents lmao.

This fix does nothing for the game its a driver bug fix for the AMD GPU also Nvidia GPU has this same bug but I don't have a work around for that because I don't have a Nvidia GPU! The great thing about this fix is once they update their driver it will convert back to default so it's not going to break anything already knows this because I've tested out myself!
