PC shutting down by itself while playing
Good afternoon, it's not been more than 30 minutes since my PC out of nowhere shut down, I don't know why this is happening, can anyone tell me?

My configuration: Ryzen 3300X processor, 16GB RAM, A320MH motherboard, Radeon rx6500xt video card, 500W supply

why does this happend to me but only happend in cs2 i play r6 with highest graphic and other triple a games but it doesnt make my pc shutdown

People forgetting that it could also be RAM related, example:
DDR4/5 at 6600+MHZ ( XMP profile ) results in crashes.
Lower it in 200mhz steps ( in bios ) until game is stable.

sounds like overheating issue.

1) stop running unlocked fps, cuz that's like revving a ferrari in first gear and wondering why it's slow and engine overheats.

2) get better cooling for case (mount some fans in front, blowing air in)
3) clean it from dust. i suggest getting electric air blower, must better than compressed air and it never runs out.

check event viewer, it should tell you why PC shut off.

if you are running a pre built gaming pc. specially a omen. 100% power supply issue. they are sending out gaming computers with just enough power to boot up soft games. nothing intense. my omen ryzen x5800, 3060 ti came with a 500watt power supply stock omen hp. not only cheap parts but not really enough juice. every time i loaded cs go/cs2 it shutdown my pc. sometimes while loading into cs or after 10mins of gaming tops. replaced power supply to a 1200watt running 24/7 since.

this is not overheating nor psu dying it's a cs2 issue, maybe with amd or any other hardware / driver compatibility I can play any other games without any issues, only experiencing system shutt downs with cs2.

This.
This only happens in cs2 for me and started around 2 weeks ago.. the game is almost unplayable because my pc is constantly hardcrashing

Vermutlich ist es der Sonnensturm/Sonnenfleck den "LPIndie" ständig auf Youtube.de erwähnt.
limit fps lower than your average fps and see if it's happening again. If no, then its a heating or power issue (too small psu)

definitely software related. My rig is rock solid and has been force closing trash2 since the last "patch"....

Normally a hard "power off" is not software related. Could be heat, not enough power supply or a dying ssd / corrupted gamefiles / file system

As an experienced IT-Admin i would at least advice you to run following commands in your commandline (cmd):

sfc /scannow

dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

These are Microsoft-Commands for Selfrepair.
But obviously they can't fix hardware errors.

The thing is, this litteraly only happens in cs2. My fps are already limited and I can play games like the newest cod without any problems. I've been stress testing all components all ready, nothing I tried made my pc hardcrash. Just cs2 at random. Sometimes during the menu shortly after starting, sometimes mid or right after a game during the scoreboard section, other times it won't happen at all. It's the most random problem I ever had with a pc in my life.

have you reinstalled the game? Start parameters? Do you use Vulkan or something else as modification. Any overlays probably? Try to disable as much as possible

hate to be the necroer here, but gotta ask if you managed to find a fix ? i've been having the same issue since cs2 release - at first i thought it was an overheating issue but after replacing the thermal paste and having cpu temps drop to 70°C (using a laptop) it still crashes my entire rig
