Why is XM1014 so OP

Why is XM1014 so OP every noob running and gunning with this thing can pretty much kill own people , plus the thing has short-medium range capabilities so its not really a situation weapon like it used to be

It's a great shotgun and is great for eco rounds and close-range situations. Even pros use XM1014 when it makes sense as it's a pretty big part of CS2.

The reason its so good at range is that the spread of the shot is mostly vertical so all you have to do is aim close and its easy also it good gun

This gun was op in csgo but no one use it, now that the rank system are really bad and you will play against low rank players and high rank players the low rank players will use that gun :)

That's true, I usually go Deagle or SMG for eco rounds but honestly, might start whipping out the XM1014 depending on the map and situation I'm in. It's so good and if anything, I can probably kill and get a free AR because of it

i view it the same way awp and auto snipers viewed tbh, headshotting with mag-7 is nice, but sometimes xm1014 is much better

Agreed, I dunno, the mag-7 just never clicked with me as much as the XM1014 has.

its not a noob weapon just shoot at the wall and look how the pellets hit

you get 4 pellets very close to each other in order to do serious damage all 4 of these need to hit the head, hitting with all 4 pellets is harder then hitting with one bullet.

what youre thinking is oh its easier to hit because theres so many pellets but in reality hitting with just 1 or 2 pellets in the head doesnt do ♥♥♥♥ all 4 need to hit at ones.

on the body you might argue that its a noob weapon but when someone kills you with body hits its your own fault for not headshotting him.

The XM will never be Meta because of its 2000$ price its too expensive for eco and not good enough for full buy but when it works its worth it because you get 900$ per kill

It's 100% a noob weapon. It does not mean that better players never use it, but it just means it's not considered 'OP' not at all.

When you don't know sprays, recoil control, movement and counter strafing, it means you're going to be ass with the meta weapons like rifles and the deagle. It means you're going to use weapons that don't require much skill to use, such as SMGs and shotguns. Shotguns have a better TTK than SMG's so they're considered 'OP'. i.e. They're noob weapons.

Any weapon which doesn't require skill to use is a noob weapon.

it does require skill, its harder to hit with all 4 pellets at ones at range then it is to hit 1 headshot with the deagle. you need to be perfectly dead on in the center of the head for all 4 pellets to hit.

with the deagle your crosshair can be on the edge of the head hitbox and its still a kill.

just try playing the nova its extremely skill based, it feels a lot more finnicy to get a proper headshot with it that one shots people then weapons with just one projectile.
