How to play CSGO on Mac - for real

1. Go to Steam
2. Go to Library
3. Right-click Counter-strike 2
4. Go to Properties
5. Click Betas
6. Choose under Beta Participation: csgo_demo_viewer - 1.38.7.9
7. A file will be installed: on the left side Counter-strike 2 will be Counter-Strike 2 [csgo_demo_viewer]

8. Command + spacebar: search for Terminal
9. Copy paste this:

 /Users/username/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Counter-Strike\ Global\ Offensive 

10. Change username in the copy by the user name you see in the Terminal with the $
11. You will see a new line starting with -bash
12. Copy paste this:

 bash ./csgo.sh 

13. Go to your Finder
14. Go to Macintosh HD
15. Click the map with your user name
16. Go to map Apps or Applications
17. Double Tap on the CSGO icon

My first try didn't work, black screen and finished. My second attempt I was able to play CSGO against bots. Same interface as before but with a yellow warning on top: Your Clients Need To Update.

if im right, you can play community servers if they are up still
