CS2 FPS massive boost on AMD GPU

I've just fixed my FPS massively uniting my CS2 & GPU in friendship via AMD Adrenalin software:

1. When I join AMD Adrenalin (my GPU driver) in the games (applications) list there was Counter-Strike 2 and I could even make some GPU settings for it. The point I state about this is that it looked like CS2 was "visible" by GPU driver.
   In game fps on low settings was like 80-120 AVG (CPU load 100% / GPU load always jumping from 0 to 100%)
   
2. After I've deleted Counter-Strike 2 from AMD Driver' list (Adrenalin) and added it manually like "CS2.exe" from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\bin\win64" it appeared like "cs2" from now on in AMD driver' list so first time I've even launched the game from Driver UI.
   
3. GPU started to load like 100% with "fpsmax 0" (no fps limit) there and my fps fixed up to 280 being 200 on average and dropping to 120.

The only problem I have now - I can't select more than 60HZ in Video settings even my Monitor is 75 HZ and I have 75 in Windows Display settings activated too - testufo.com proves that.

But even I have "-freq 75" launch option activated "run_perftest" said I have 60 in game (75 in Windows). In CS2 video settings I have only 60HZ option.
Would be nice if someone could expand on that.

last i checked cs2 has bloacked access to amd software and it is no longer viable i guess, but if there is a workaround it would really help with my game settings i guess.

For you what is the best version of amd Adrenalin for Cs 2 now ? 24.6.1 have low fps and drops with my rx 7600 oc

Try:
1) reinstalling Gpu driver with DDU software in Safe mode (read manual or watch youtube tutorial)
2) reinstall CS2 presaving your data ftom “userdata” folder (steam folder)
3) in Win11 they also changed how “power plans” work there, so for better GPU load you should set “Balanced” power plan in Power Options / Control panel - after that you will see new option in System (Win+I) / Power - “Power mode”. Set it to Best performance.
You won’t have this option available until the other power plan is selected in Control panel but “Balanced”.
= Balanced power plan in Control panel and Best performance in Windows settings (System / Power).

Amd Adrenalin is not working perfectly on my Win11 (Zero rpm fan settings resets to default each time), but no fps or other big issues..

By the way, I’ve also set my GPU clocks (as well as memory clocks and timings and maximum power usage) manually and undervolted it to boost performance and get much lower temps (especially Hotspot temps from ~90-95 to 70-80 via Air cooling).

On AMD it’s not a big problem to find your stable voltage - check youtube videos.
The voltage stable for you is related to your Gpu chip (some are more lucky than others).

By the way, just tested my 6900XT on 24.6.1 compared to 24.4.1 and got lower fps.

CS2 FPS Benchmark showed it's related to AMD Antilag 2.0 - turning it ON sends me like:
-8% "AVG fps"
-3% "1%_Low"

When turning Antilag OFF in CS2 (even having it ON in Anrenalin) = same AVG / slightly better 1%_Low.

Wonder whether Antilag 2.0 does anything since:
- fps limit = 300 and my oldschool monitor Refresh rate = 75
- GPU is usually about 60% maximum load

Due to the tests that I've seen it doesn't give big difference whether you use Antilag (Reflex) or just cap your fps 2x-3x higher than monitor refresh rate and don't go above 80%-85% of GPU load.

My fps fluctuate from 240 and 200, sometimes drops to 140, do you guys know what May be the cause of this fps drops? R5 5600x and Rx 7600, any command console or driver specific?
