War Games Removed

When is War Games coming to CS2? Are there any plans to bring it back at all? Anyone know?

thats a community mode that exists for 20 years.
if valve doesnt bring it out, it will appear in community servers.

it was a lot of fun and I don't think it'll be as enjoyable for me if it's not on official servers.

you can even see the cs2 version of Baggage in the cs2 steam store page

I saw that too, but it's kinda weird they would wait, i thought maybe they changed their mind and decided not to implement it ?

There are so many missing stuff from csgo in cs2. Clearly, they released CS2 early since competitive mode is completed and delayed the release of CSGO content

They arent just porting the maps and models, they are remaking them and then add them so probably that is what takes time

I think they released it because its being used scheduled tournaments .

Yes, it's nice we all got to play CS2 early and since comp and premier are playable it's an okay state of the game to release on.

Still wish they were more transparent about that missing CSGO content or at least still allow us to play on the old game.

the gamemodes themselves are already coded into the game except dangerzone
we just gotta wait for the new maps for them to be released.
there is a community cs2 server running the retakes gamemode.

Agree, they could offer us arms race fans some sort of date on when they plan to release that game mode
