Are there 'AI' players?

I was playing competitive on dust2, one of the players on my team was so strange. They didn't really contribute much to the game but did get a couple of kills. It was just the movement and the lack of engagement that was really strange.

For example, blue(the one we suspect of being the AI) had the bomb and seemed to just troll with it. We had A site clear and was waiting for him but he was just chilling at spawn. I decided to go back and coerce them into coming to the bombsite, but they were so difficult I had to TK them to get the bomb.

Usually when you TK someone they react, either with typing, microphone or TK the following round, but this player didn't.

Later on when it was 3v1, blue had the bomb again and once again was dithering about. A team mate elected to team kill them this time but wasn't very good at aiming so it took a while. But blue once again didn't respond, didn't even turn around to look to see who was team attacking them.

I guess without the demo it's difficult to judge or really comment, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

If there is Ai players, then Valve 100% should demand personal informations, that way we can make sure it is a person and not a computer that are playing !

this is actually so interesting… so sad that they disabled cstv demos, I would have literally spectated them throughout the whole match, never seen anything like this…

lol yea because majority of players will be dumb enough to give personal info for a damn game. That's a good way to lose even more real players and deal with even more bots.

It's prob more than that. As soon as majority of players find a new way to farm cases it will be like 70% farming bots lol

It's either a farming bot.

Or... most likely a person that's purposely playing like crap to drop their ranking down so they can:
A. Get a hard on by beating up less skilled players in the future.
B. Sell the account to someone else so that the new owner can a hard on by beating up less skilled players.
