4:3 with black screen

I just changed the resolution from full hd to 4:3 and the game has a black screen, you can hear it and when I press alt+tab I see that the game is open, but in full screen I don't see it, it has a black border, Can anyone help me??

NVIDIA or AMD?
Can you change your resolution right now or is the game bricked and always black?

try this guide first and see if it resolves your problem

if it doesn't add

-window -w 1280 -h 720

to your launch options and see if you can make changes to your settings then.
if all that doesn't help put

-autoconfig

into your launch options which will delete all the changes you've made before though.

I just saw that this is happening in all games since I updated the AMD drivers
