Still no controller support...?

Controller support.
It's not a thing on the store page, but it also wouldn't be the first time Valve forgot to list it; so is it a thing or no?

I know I can Steam input it up, but life is always a bit easier when I don't have to joystick mouse menus.
I also wonder how many people are going to read the title only and comment assuming I'm asking for aim assist even though I fell that's something that shouldn't exist in competitive games at all.

why should an pc only title sice 23 years support controller. Never had and never will support it. And yes i know there was a console edition out there but they scraped that very fast

I was able to play CSGO with a gamepad, worked straight out of the box. Id say you just plug in your gamepad and try it out.

Just tested it out. its Steam Input, mouse is operated with RStick.

CS:GO definitely had controller support. In fact, it supported the Steam Input API (not the same as steam input for games without controller support), allowing for massive customisation of controller support. Controller support is important for people who are coming from console who won’t be used to a keyboard and mouse, and it will be useful for people with disabilities that don’t allow them to use a keyboard and mouse properly, restricting them to accessibility focused controllers (such as the Xbox Adaptive Controller)

xD nah not realy since 23 years NOBODY has ever complained that cs has no controller support at all. You are one of the first 10 maybe the first at all that crtys that cs has no real controller support xD

CSGO had controller support but it's odd that CS2 doesn't. I'm sure it will come eventually. You'll have to stick with steam input for now as you said.

I know they´ve had it. But reading isnt your favourite i guess. And so what they removed it nobody cares at all. Out of that millions maybe less then 1% actually used controller on csgbo anyway so its a playerbase wich can be tolerated to lose

and even they play with controller thank god they dont get aim assist. (wich most likley hold them back from playing because they actually need to aim)
