Counter Strike 2 is missing the "Counter Strike feel" the original had. It plays like yet another Fortnite clone: Gun skins, silly emotes, cartoonish movements, etc. Do we really need another one of those?
Counter Strike used to be a serious arcade shooter. Its not going to be taken seriously when your killer's kill cam has a purple cat decaled M4 shooting at you while they emote on top of your dead body.
That's whats wrong with it, it feels more like a Fortnite sequel than a Counter Strike sequel.
Oh it's the old "it fortnite" clown again. Piss off for the sake of preserving the oxygen for people who actually deserve it will you?
As for the OP: the only issue I know of is that the interpolation caused a massive peeker advantage. The opponent simply wouldn't see the enemy in time to react. This was apparently solved. Most people just find the release to be too "barebones"; it's less than what CS:GO offered.
It's not pleasant running the game even tho the game itself is fine. Still seems like it's in Beta so I'm going to wait for it to be optimized before playing again.
Performance's abysmal, a lot of the changes completely destroyed multiple playstyles... It's just awful for competitive scenery, now it's about waiting for it to improve, which may take years, I hope not though...
