MIc dont work if i am not screaming !!

Microphone (Steelseries arctis pro + gameDAC ) is not working corectly when i speak normal , only i have mic in my mouth and talk loud , i dont get it any other game it work perfectly csgo,discord ,skype ,KF2.7d2d and so on but in cs2 i have to scream :(
Tryed many fixes none of them worked , still have to scream to mic , annoying!!

Have you got steam voice settings set to the mic with default medium echo cancellation , noise cancellation , and automatic volume gain , with your sonar GG microphone eq+ the inbuilt noise reduction turned up to high and added a noise gate with a loud fan or something in the background or it could just be mic volume is to low .

EDIT : Check that your chatmix is not turned way down / it's could be poor positioning try about 1 inch from the edge of your mouth .

every thing is on default + in beta cs2 and csgo i had no problems at all with mic, i could talk in game with mic inside the headset with out taking it out , its only now when the officialy came out cs2 started this bull shi.t. so it cant be my mic

I had the same issue.. But I think I found the solution (at least it worked for me).. Change the default setting within windows to be the artic pro, and NOT the Sonar.. This helped me :)

Ok hopefully you fixed , i was just mentioning it as noise removal software can do this with this mic as i had this issue .

Kinda fixed it by turning off Sonar in steelseries GG

I have the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless works great for me! You may want to go into your Windows 11 sound/mic setting and take a look at what you have set and then also set the same settings in the game as well!

BTW if you have Steelseries GG install please uninstall it, it will turn the headset into Pure garbage that goes for the sound and the mic!
