Steam preventing profile pictures from loading in game

This has been an issue for me since CS:GO for a while but I've been thinking that no one would have a solution so I never made a post abt it, but I guess theres no harm in trying. Steam profile pictures do not load in Cs matches, and instead are replaced by the bot pfp logos. the exception to this is animated profile pictures. changing between turning on and off profile pictures with the Cs setting does show the fake pfps, but does not fix my issue. anyone have any suggestions?
