CS2 offline LAN mode
Hello guys. Who knows how to play cs 2 in offline LAN mode? I can create a practise match with bots but my friends can't connect my host offline. When we have the internet they can connect but we can't play fine because of bad internet. I disabled firewall and I don't have any antivirus programs. I also did sv_lan enabled. When my friends try to connect developer console shows:
[SteamNetSockets] Failed to accept connection from 192.168.XXX.XXX:port. We don't know our local identity.

Use dedicated server for time being.
I will bump this topic. Can't even start connecting to any server, even LAN hosted, even hosted on localhost, while offline. It just aborts connection client-side without checking whether this server is sv_lan 1 or not. It was possible in CS:GO to do so.
To reproduce:
1) go offline in steam
2) start game
3) type "connect 10.10.10.10" or some local IP
4) get rejected without even trying to connect.

CS came from LAN, please keep it possible to play it LAN now too. Thank you.

can you use them offline via lan?

No, because any connection, even LAN and localhost, requires SDR certificate which is obtained via internet. To use dedicated is a solution to a slightly different problem.

The only solution for now is to connect to internet, then join your Lan server, after that it works over Lan even if you disable internet connection. I guess that is how we are going to play on our Lan party. But really shame they can't fix this sooner.

Someone has described how to make it possible in this forum:

look for a nixite's post. You also have to register and log in to download patched files
