Reduced XP immediately after buying prime

I played a few days, then decided to buy prime. It started me at level 2 with reduced XP already. I don't understand why all my friends who bought prime the day before are level 11 but I'm getting 50 XP a round at level 2. Wtf?

The reason why you gain reduced xp is that you played too many matches within a week. The xp reduction will be resetted once a week.

The EXP system works like this.
Each week your first 4500 EXP is earned at a very high rate 4x the normal rate.
after 4500 EXP is earned your exp gain rate drops to 2x the regular rate until you earn another 3000 EXP.
After that it drops down to the standard rate of regular 1x until you gain 3700 more exp.
From then until the end of the week you will earn exp at the reduced rate of x0.175
This means you can earn about 11200 each week at the boosted and regular rates before it slows to a crawl, that's a little over 2 level ups per week.

same here.. earning 50 +/- 10 xp each game. Can't be right.

Same, bought it yesterday, played some games and I'm now in reduced xp at level 2 (only have 3000xp)

You are getting PLENTY of XPs ok? valve is very generous with the XP it is a very good portion and enough ok we all must be more thankful for what we are given

Yes thats true. And in "case" you want to know when your XP reduction ends, you can look in the shop.

Where in the shop ? I don't see anything, and it makes me think this reduced xp after buying prime is a glitch and isn't meant to happen.

When you go to the "in-game-shop" you should see it. Or switch One page to the right in the in-game-shop. Its there. Somewhere. -.- Good luck trying it out.
