FIXED STICKER PROBLEM!!!

Since the cs2 update, I was unable to apply new stickers to any of my skins, when trying the game would keep telling me it was unable to retrieve my item. I thought it was a steam issue, but just this morning I realized I had not ever signed into my online status since the update. I went to the friends tab, switched to online status and then was able to apply my sticker to my skin! If you are having this issue try turning your online status on and see if it helps!

Hmmm I seem to be having a problem with making 4x sticker crafts, in some skins, it won't apply the 4th sticker in certain spots. I tried going online in friends thing too. Odd. Hopefully momentary bug for me. It allows me to put only 3 stickers and not the 4th, like in the awp it won't let me put a sticker in the very back. Or the p250 in the back as well (not bottom). Works on some other skins, but not on my Awp and p250 tho it seems like

Thats weird, did you scrape an old sticker off that spot or did it never have a sticker there to begin with?

i have the same problem, put 3 stickers on a gun and the 4th spot, completely open is saying steam connection error, failure to retrieve item

Maybe try switching your online status to offline, then back to online?

I've found that hitting "Next Position" allows the sticker to be placed, but you're unable to place a 4th sticker. So pick the 3 positions you like carefully

Keep verifying game file integrity and signing in and out of your online status, I hope theres an update soon!

Yeah i tried that too. My awp still wont put the 4th sticker even after verifying integrity too, also the stickers i was putting on were on a default p250 skin so if u try it and it works then i could just be my end, the back top of the p250 specifically is where it won't apply. Sadly guess i'll wait on that craft or update.

Ok, so the solution seems to be to wait a while. I was able to finally put the 4th sticker on my awp after trying again every once in a while. Eventually after playing a game or two the stickers were able to be applied. So play a few games and it'll work I guess.

Thats so strange, at first I thought maybe it had something to do with the old skins not using the updated weapon models yet, but im glad you got it to work. Its nice to know I wasnt the only one having issues. Couldnt find any advice anywhere online…

Yea it worked for one skin after playing a game and then it wouldn't work on the 2nd skin until I played another game. Was really weird. Well hopefully this helps others.

I'm having the exact same issue after scraping a 4th sticker on my awp and trying to apply a new 4th sticker. I had -insecure in launch options when I tried to apply the new one and thought that could be an issue but I restarted CS2 without -insecure and it still doesn't work. I'll try again later

Yea try signing in and out of your online friends status and see if that helps! This is such a weird issue to be overlooked by valve…

I tried to restart steam, sign out and in from online friends, nothing works.
