why internet lag?

I live in country side and internet is not that bad. We even could load youtube on Tv and play csgo mm with my wife. but now since cs2 its unplayable. pc is good and cant seem to see any fps drops. now when i spike ping to 70 then it lags real good - start sliding and teleporting and freezing. like wtf

what upload speed , and download speed?

you can watch YouTube on like 0.5 mbs it does not take much. The game requires at least 4 mbs

I believe it is a provider-related problem. I've connected my PC to a different wifi-network (different provider) and it seemed to resolve the issue

36.65mbps dl speed. had the same speed before. never lagged

I think this problem is not related to the Internet, since I have exactly the same problem, in cs go everything was fine, but in cs2 everything started to freeze and teleport. My Internet is stable, I’m also racking my brains about this.

Perhaps this problem is related to the load on the servers

no I mean like speed when you download games on steam is it 4 mb per second or less if its less thats the issue. I have like 175 mbs download speed but it only translates to 6 mbs when downloading games on steam and you need 4 mbs of that to play game with good ping.

I have 1000/1000 and 2-6 ping, still have same experience as OP

TBH it's a general thing, a lot of players I know are having same problem...

I was doing zero lag or stutters other have that either because of 300+ fps or because they missing visual C++ or their pc is AMD.

im using mx linux and have gtx 1650 4gb.
