Mouse Stutter/Jitter
First, just to clarify, I am not pooing on the game.
I just really want to enjoy it with smooth performance!

Anyone else experiencing stuttering/jittering whenever moving your mouse to look around?
I have tried several things in an attempt to eliminate or minimize this issue, but have failed.
My system isn't an issue.
I get above 180fps at all times.
Whenever the camera moves by itself without mouse movement, like upon death, the game is smooth as ever.

Things I have tried:
Mouse Smoothing is off in Windows Additional Mouse Settings.
I've tried different DPI settings for my Razer DeathAdder.
I've tried lowering the graphics settings to the lowest.
Tried capping fps at 200, even though my monitor can handle 240.
(Tried capping with RivaTuner, Nvidia, and Steam launch command, no difference at all.)
Almost nothing is running in the background while CS2 is running.
I even went as far as installing a fresh install of Windows 10 and getting the latest Nvidia driver.

Is this a frame pacing bug or am I missing something?
Thank you for taking your time to read and/or respond.
:D::heart:

Do NOT set FPS cap because the performance looks bad. I have tested the FPS capped, and it was slow. My movement felt off and shooting isn't as precise.

The game right now is GPU Intensive, if you use laptop to play. It's not going to make your game feel smooth regardless of how many settings you've set to low.

I've also tried uncapped.
I have a 3080ti so my GPU shouldn't be struggling.

Have similar issue under Linux.
To solve it set resolution of game same like in your desktop resolution.
The issue after this -> mouse will change sensitivity cause Valve dropped raw input =(

Most players uses low res, 4:3 settings. No one playing with 1080p or 4k Res.

I have Nvidia
The best thing I can help you with is to tell you what you need to search for on google are youtube Nvidia GPU Shader Cache Stutter Fix! Hopefully there's someone out there that has found the fix for Nvidia!

Thank you! Hopefully this will get patched though. Sooner than later.

I am playing with rtx 3080 on 1440 resolution max graphics and still doing 200 fps 8 ms input lag 150 1% fps, zero lag or stuttering with amd cpu that has 40 % bottleneck.

And I can do 240 fps zero diffrence except that my temperature is a bit high so I don't. (I get 80C on gpu)

I tried all situations like diffrent maps , competitive , casual , spamming fire , spamming bullets etc and still same.
I also did max dpi on mouse I have and did the fastest mouse setting possible in windows and spamed 360 jumps and still no stuttering or lag everything super smooth

I can do like 350 + fps on 1080 resolution.

I am not saying issue does not exist for stuttering, I saw pro people record it on video but I am just confused why I Don't have it.

Even if someone has the exact same Hardware as you it's still different from theirs! Just be grateful you are one of the lucky ones that don't have to deal with it!

you're not alone. i have a 4070 and 400+ fps at all times and i also have the deathadder v3

i only get this weird jittery/lag/frame drops when using the deathadder. i have 2 mice plugged in, deathadder laggy, roccat kone no lag. it's the mouse.

what helped is plugging the mouse straight into the computer. use 1000hz poling

if you're wireless i heard you should not plug straight into the computer. use usb 2.0 port. use the dongle cord to get the receiver away from the computer. make sure it's not near the wifi router. good luck.

I believe this video explains the problem very well

You can change sensitivity in console to get rid of jitter

I have tried all that you have suggested with no resolution. I have a deathadder v2. What seemed to slightly help was using the -fps_max 120 command, which is a bit lower fps than what I want. Still felt the jitter though. CSGO ran so smooth at the same performance. Maybe I should try another mouse.

Using a console command to change sensitivity helps with the jitter?
