CS2 always minimizes my fullscreen window

when i always play CS2 my Fullscreen window minimizes which means it doesnt crash but it just minimizes my full screen window and i find it anoying how do i prevent this from happening when i play CS2 again and also plus my game lags a little but my gaming pc is very powerfull tho. maybe if my windows fullscreen is minimizing it might be a bug in CS2 but idk. so how do i prevent my windows fullscreen from automatically minimizing from CS2?

Yeah this is because, valve did release the game during vacation in beta.. valve will be back in one year... so i think at least you can 2025 play a playable game. Indeed there will be still a lot of cheaters and other problemes...

it worked i know the solution put it to fullscreen or windows or windows bordless and see if that helps, if it doesn't than maybe fix or use a different ratio or something in cs2 and try it ou,t if the problem still happens than maybe use a different FPS change your fps to any like test is change it to any fps if that still happens with that fps than switch it to a different fps just test every FPS in cs2 and see if the problem is still happening to you guys, if it is than you'll either have to ignore it for your entire life when you play the gffame or you will either have ot uninstall cs2.

I've been having this problem too. I had to disable the discord overlay, whenever i was getting a discord message it would minimize the game. Also had to close razer synapse. Don't know why those two things caused it, but so far that seems to have fixed the issue for me. If those two things aren't the problem for you, maybe you have some other program running in the background or another overlay that is conflicting.

you all need to seek and destroy the 3rd party app(s) that is most likely causing this annoyance because its NOT a common issue.

i'd start with a Tactical Nuke on discord. from high-orbit, just to be sure. that alien needs to be destroyed...

and then turn off any automated "temp file" cleaners if you have them set to work in the background, you may not even know they are working in the backgroud, so shut them down completely (remove them) and test.

Still having this problem of the game randomly minimising from Fullscreen mode. You can "fix" by setting to windowed, but then you have to play in native resolution which I dont want to do. Any update on how to fix it?

Stop paying money to Valve. When they stop making money because their software is buggy, then they might consider fixing their software.
