Played over 3,000 hours, but no more after csgo2
After the forceful upgrade, my laptop cannot handle CSGO 2 anymore. I have played CSGO for over 3000 hours. I don't understand why CSGO 2 to replace CSGO. Not reasonable and feel very bad.

It's easy, to force you to buy a new laptop.

GS GO came out in 2012. If your hardware can't support the new version then it's time for an upgrade. 3000 hours is 125 straight days BTW, so if you played a little less and worked just a few hours you could afford a new laptop.

i have over 7700 hours last i looked and now i dont have csgo anymore...i actually paid cash money for csgo and they decided for me to replace it with a completely different game...i mean you went to a Mercedes dealer and bought Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe and they give you a Volkswagen Tiguan to drive off the lot!!!

is this a gptchat generated answer or something?
because if they released a sequal and csgo then you would have 300k playing csgo and 300k playing CS2 and valve dont want that because they want the sequel to be the bigger thing

You can't be that savagely logical about things

No. It´s like buying a Mercedes in 2012 and getting a brand new car without any additional payment 11 years later. It´s no Mercedes anymore, but it´s more efficient and higher built quality. - So when you´re trying to compare, make sure the comparison doesn´t lack that much.

Cs:go looked like derp potato version of CS2. They need to move forward or competition like valorant or something else in the future will take over the playerbase.

valorant stands no chance againts csgo, CS2 was merely done to make the game more inviting to everyone while returning old players back into the game

Even 10+ year old hardware can run CS2. If you can't run CS2 it means you didn't manage to save up ~100 euro in total in 10 years to buy a more performancy PC and instead of blaming yourself you blame a absolute reasonable and must-have change valve did.

All these threads ranting against CS2 are non constructive, non reasonable and just silly.

OK, my pc is full 2012, motherboard, cpu, ram
GPU is rx580 so 2017ish
i avg less then 60fps with lots of stutter on lowest ingame settings
prior to this it ran around 200-250fps ( if not higher )
i think its a very valid reason to demand better optimisation

Two things fly into my mind, one question, one guess:
The question: What settings do you use? Mainly: What resolution?
My guess: People who have issues with better hardware usually run a AMD GPU. It seems like AMD's compatibility is an issue. AMD is known to have worse software/driver and much more issues in any aspect.

I've plenty of different builds and you can check them out in this list:

https://pastebin.com/kyNwWfsg

None of my 3 main PCs has issues and the FPS is as expected. That beeing said I haven't tried using my RX560 together with the 4. gen i5. It has the same performance as the GTX 1050ti but it's AMD so there's that.

This video also proves that CS2 runs fine with minimum system requirements:

If anyone of your seriously think it's valves fault that you can't get enough money to buy a new PC within 10 hours then you guys expectations in reality are very bad. And all these threads actually show how inexerpienced many CSGO player are in any aspect linked to this topic.

I absolutely dislike consoles but at least the console community knows that every 5 years or even earlier they need a new console to play further. They even pray for a new version of their fav console. But PC gamer? They bought a low budged PC 10+ years ago and wonder why nowadays they've low fps. Lol.
