CS2 on MacOS?

I downloaded CS2 just hours after it's release, excited to try out the game for the first time; only to find out that CS2 is Windows exclusive.

I bought my M2 Ultra Mac Mini specifically for playing CS:GO in January, and now I can't even do that.

I've tried running CS:GO through Parallels and CrossOver but only to get about 20-30 FPS max. Buying a PC isn't an option for me either.

If anyone could tell me if/when there will be a MacOS release of CS2 or if there is a way I can play CS:GO again, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

You can still launch CSGO, but can only play on community servers.

I have parallels desktop, a windows emulator, but it runs terribly with low fps

Im pretty sure it exists, you can see it on steamdb they just havent released it yet

right click cs2 in steam > properties > betas > select csgo_demo_viewer from the dropdown

then open a mac terminal inside the counter strike global offensive folder and run csgo.sh

or you could just uninstall the game until they fix it. i did that and stopped suffering FOMO
