I"m currently installing the game. Is the sound in CS2 in Dolby 5.1 or 7.1 surround (or ATMOS)? Really getting tired of games that say 'virtual' surround, when that's not even 5.1 discrete sound channel mix (Center, Left, Right, Rear left and right, and subwoofer). This fake surround most of these games employ is absolute s***. I KNOW these developers have the software AND capability to make TRUE surround in thier audio. I use my home theatre setup for video and audio. "Virtual" surround isn't TRUE surround sound. And stereo just does NOT cut it. No, I do not use headphones while gaming, and yes, I've tried "virtual" surround sound, and, well, it just SUCKS. :)

Agreed. They need to bring back the 5.1 and 7.1, forced stereo sounds horrible.

Unplayable for me without surround sound 5.1 / 7.1.
I would go back to CSGO, if I'd knew how.
