Can't fix stuttering/freezing performance issue CS:GO 2.
I am having significant problems with the performance of CS:GO 2, I never had these problems on CS:GO 1. The game keeps stuttering, which happens unpredictably but is especially bad when I move or look around too quickly, when another player moves fast, or when weapons are used, when I pick up, buy or change weapons. The issue is exacerbated when there are multiple players on my screen.

When I join a new match, my game stutters extremely where freezes be up to 10 seconds long. Sometimes it takes 2-3 minutes before the stuttering becomes consistent with what I explained above.

I Have done so much research and I can’t solve the issue. These are the things I have done so far and the current state of the stuttering is what I still experience after doing the following things:

* I have low graphics on (It looks like an arcade game now)
* My specs are better than the recommended specs
* I have the game on a gen 4 SSD
* I validated the game files
* I redownloaded the game
* I tried running the game as an administrator
* I updated my graphics driver to the latest version
* I updated windows
* I have the latest DirectX version
* I have the latest version of Visual C++ Redistributable
* I ran Visual C++ Redistributable repair
* I optimized by hardware layout inside the computer to maximize cooling (My CPU temp dropped by a lot)
* I have researched optimal Launch options (It did nothing, and some things even made the stuttering worse)

Today, I discovered that while Debugging with my friend, my CPU temperature was reaching dangerously high levels of 70-80 degrees Celsius almost like the game was trying to fry my PC. This is why I optimized my computer's hardware layout and managed to lower the CPU temperature to a safer range of 35-50 degrees Celsius under low load and 50-66 degrees Celsius under high load. The temperature change was significant because the air wasn't circulating properly. I rearranged things to improve airflow from the intake to the outtake.
I am also pretty sure this is no longer a problem as I think my CPU only thermal throttles over 80 degrees Celsius.

If anyone knows how to fix this you are the best!

Some of my specs:
Operation system: Windows 10
DirectX: version 12
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz 4.20 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB
RAM: 2x 8GB 2400 MHz
Disc the game is on: WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD 1TB (R: 5150 MB/s, W:4900 MB/s)
Wi-Fi average speed: 200 megabit/s

Edit: My fps with my current settings is constantly between 100-200 even when the game stutters

I think it might be RAM issues try 3200 lower cl RAM 32 gb

I have zero issue on lags or stuttering but my gpu is always 80 C , I mean I am doing max graphics 1440 resolution on high botlenck rtx 3080 but temperature still looks high to me.

I'm having the same issue, I have a 13700k and a 3080ti and it doesn't matter the graphics settings I have but I kind of have to keep them high to stop my cpu from working too hard. the game stutters like you describe, usually the most noticeable when looking around quickly or moving. the game is on a sata SSD, but that should be more than good enough considering CS loads everything prior to the match and when my game crashes it literally takes longer for steam to allow me to click play again than it does to get back into the actual game so that's not an issue. it makes basically every fight RNG based. sometimes the game will just lock up for like 2-3 seconds too and I think it's going to crash but then doesn't but when this happens, it usually does end up crashing eventually.

I have 7200mhz ram, their base clock speeds are higher than 3200

That is the bug mentioned in beta testing I believe I have the same problem like many other players it's probably because of the game engine isn't optimised yet for new graphic cards

It might just be cpu , I am doing low budget amd cpu ( 5800x3d) with rtx 3080 so maybe modern cpu cores are not working

that's the thing though, half life alyx runs fine and it's being rendered twice.

OP has a 7700k which is 6 gens old, it doesn't have e and p cores.

Then I don't know there has to be some diffrence on your not working game vs mine working when we both have similar power gpu I am using nvidia profile inspector app but don't see how that makes diffrence I am also using 240 hz screen

Not a RAM issue. I got the exact same issue on 32 gigs.

It's an issue with shader caching, it affects mostly AMD cards but also Nvidia cards to a lesser extent. As to why, I have no idea, but the issue is that CS2 doesn't pre-load shaders, so whenever you join a game it needs to load shaders for every single thing that happens in a map, which includes shooting, explosions, lighting, etc. The end result is massive stuttering during the first minutes of gameplay until all the shaders have been loaded.

Best you can do is wait for a fix from either Valve or Nvidia.

Maybe it's visual c specific I have like all from 2008 to 2017 + latest I needed them for witcher 3 maybe this game uses one of them

The thing is that I load game and have zero stutters even if I shoot jump or run , all I see is 10 fps drop for 0.1 sec and that's it then its constant fps all time

But my shaders are like 10 gb as well maybe that's why ?? What size you guys use , I can up to like 100 gb in profile inspector or just unlimited

Maybe you guys still using old 4gb size
