counter strike go i played years ago, i had 156 achievements. they seriously deleted all the achievements everyone had in this game?

why would they do this?

Played on and off for years,and had not got many of these things of course,got some though,and not sure took screenshots if could too?,of that area,have to check later.But no way to see these achievements ever again in any way,not somewhere on the steam site still,or there new CS2 site?.

not that i know of. they literally just took our memories, our achievements, our timestamps and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DELETED THEM.

Because majority of people used third party tools to unlock all achievements so I suppose Valve viewed them as valueless

Awful argument.

Even if they find the achievements without value, they could have done less work and left them be for the people who do value them.

The ones who don't care.. they don't care.

Seems like there was no harm to be done in leaving them, and only harm to be done by removing them.

Who determines whether and what has value? Just because there are some spoilsports doesn't mean it has to be invalidated for everyone. Of course, it could be that Valve thinks so. But I think she had other reasons, whichever.

Deleting my achievements really upset me. I don’t even want to play cs 2 now. Apparently, valve literally just doesn't care about the investment people put into their games. They probably just start doing this for other games too

yep only a matter of time before hundreds of tf2 achievements get nuked for the same reasoning. since 12 year old idiots use SAM, then ppl who got them legitimately get just get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ i guess.
