CS:GO 2 won't download

Every time I try to download CS2, it stays at 0% and stops download and says "RESUME"
I press resume and it does the same and then goes back to resume.

Any help???

• And as usually, update GPU drivers, Windows and Windows Apps via Windows Store ...

old config location:
..\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg
-> config.cfg
-> custom cfg files ..

new config location:
..\Steam\userdata\_YOUR_ID_\730\local\cfg
-> cs2_machine_convars.vcfg

more custom configs and keybinds as buyscript:
-> cs2_user_convars_0_slot0.vcfg
-> cs2_user_keys_0_slot0.vcfg (console, manually bind keys, 'host_writeconfig')

Buyscript commands for the NumPad have also changed, and some of them are even non-functioning or even confused each other... for exampe on me, kp_0 and kp_7 are switched, so some others while a few dont work at all.. I have opened a Support ticket for this NumPad mess.. and still wait for a response.

I had this problem after a sudden game crash. Tried to reinstall. Deleting 730 worked for reinstall. Here's to hoping I don't get the crash again.

Just delete files from appcache from STEAM folder and restart Steam....

I managed to download it by going to:

device management

Discstations

Dubble click the disk you want to install the game to

Select policy

Disable the first square (safety buffering)

Then download the game and select the correct drive.

I had the same problem, i just uninstalled it, than selected to uninstall steamworks common redistributables from my space (D) and than repaired the disk space, than it worked!

i too had this crash mid game for file integrity fix... ultimatley required uninstalling steamworks common redistributables and re-installing the game as well... cost me a match mid night with my friends plus a 30 minute ban :(

had the same problem just now I also tried everything that I thought could help but nothing then i just went away from my setup for a few seconds and it just started downloading randomly pretty weird

Same issue here. This shxt game just suddenly crushed and I can't play again, everytime I try to connect back it will just say VAC unable to verify. And I can't verify my file's completeness, so I have to reinstall the game but it won't let me download it. Obviously, it's a serious bug cuz I'm fine with all other games, but Valve clearly don't give a fk.

This saved me. I had no idea as why cs crashed and then would never update. Uninstalled and then was borked. Thanks!

Same with mine, first receive a message while in game that my anti cheat system can't run and then it stucked on verify game files, now I uninstalled the game and it won't even download..
