Why is my prime not transferred to CS 2

So the game gets updated to CS 2 whats happening to my csgo prime?

the store is a bit bugged at the moment and shows you can buy it again
but do not
if you already bought prime back in csgo you have it in CS2

Is there any way i can confirm my prime is active? I just bought it for CS2 and i'm not sure how i can check if the game recognizes the purchase.

check your profile card in game it should have a little symbol that says prime enabled account

I had my prime on csgo, but in cs2 i dont have my prime

All the steps, in order...

Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/ or with whatever

Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Change your password on a secure device.

Generate new back up codes. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

Revoke the api key (this should be empty) https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

After you fully secured your account with ALL the steps above...

1. Go here https://help.steampowered.com/en/

2. Scroll down and enter the name of the game in the search bar.

3. Click on the game.

4. Select "It's not in my library"

5. Select "Restore the previously removed package to my account"
