you can right click cs2 and click properties > betas. then opt into csgo demo viewer and download that. you unfortunately have to download 12gbs tho. BUT what i want to know is if u have to download it each time u restart ur pc. i downloaded it last night, took 1 hour. and now i have to redownload it

properties
betas
select "csgo_demo_viewer 0 1,38.7.9"

wait for it to download csgo

to play csgo, double click on cs2 in steam and select "play counter-strike global offensive (demo viewer, 2023) in the prompt
