Mate you have no idea how fast m1/m2 macs are. I had 100fps on csgo on good settings.
And it's a translated game, wasn't built for m1.
CS2 could and still can be faster if has Metal support.
PCs are just bug noisy pieces of hardware now.

I did nothing but state the facts, the facts may disgust you but that doesn't mean I'm being mean. Like you CAN ran CS2 on a mac but it'll not run well because macs aren't programmed to run next gen games (or games in general). You'll be better off spending your time and money on a PC that can run not only CS2 but all the games on steam.

CS:GO was more than 10-years old, I would hope that a 2020-2023 Mac can run CS:GO...but CS2 is a 2023 game. Just like how you can't run Cyberpunk 2077 or Baldur Gate 3 on a Mac, you can't run CS2 on a mac. That's not discrimination that's just how games are in general -- Mac can't even run 90% of the games on steam, this is nothing new.

Back to the topic: csgo was not just playable. It ran really well on m1/m2. No lags, no fps drops, just perfect.
And it was officially supported by Valve.
And had many players like me and other folks in this thread. We paid for that we paid for skins etc. That's why ppl are so frustrated.

You can't run cyberpunk on a mac, its an .exe file and needs to be run on either BootCamp or other modulator software. Idk why you would ever want to play these games on a mac and get mediocre performance.

I used to run CS:GO on a mac and I can tell you that's its not worth it in the long-term, mac is not used for gaming, its a business and coding platform not designed for competitive FPS. This is a fact.

Buy a PC, and you can play ALL the games on steam. Maybe CS2 will have future support for mac but I don't see it being very fun given how demanding CS2 is on the new engine -- its a new game, they're not going to wait for mac players to next gen THEIR GAME. So either sell your skins and get a PC or wait for Mac release.

На макбуках с m1 и выше нет возможности поставить буткемп и накатить винду. Только через виртуалку типа parallels - но это танцы с бубном.
